What is HIFU lifting?
HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. The device's cartridges send evenly distributed ultrasound waves to different layers of the skin and the fat beneath it, without damaging the epidermis. The result is a lifting and tightening effect on the face or body without any surgery.

How HIFU works
The Ultraformer III handpieces turn ultrasound energy into heat at the exact depth chosen in the subcutaneous layers, where a stable temperature of 65–75 °C is maintained during the treatment. This triggers neocollagenesis: the skin renews its collagen and elastin and gradually tightens.
On the body, macro-focused transducers with higher density reach deeper and target the subcutaneous layers at three different depths to slim contours and reduce stubborn fat. The energy damages the membranes of fat cells. The released triglycerides travel through the blood and lymphatic system to the liver and are processed by your natural metabolism, just like fat from food.

HIFU for a double chin
For a double chin the ultrasound works at two depths: 4.5 mm into the fat pad under the chin and 3 mm to tighten the skin above it. That reduces the volume under the chin and lifts the jawline in the same session. A session takes 20–30 minutes, with no anaesthetic and no downtime. Most clients need one session; a second one is added after 3–6 months when the fat pad is more pronounced.
