Gel manicure

Gel polish has largely replaced regular polish because it lasts much longer and keeps its colour and shine. It goes on in three layers: base, colour and top coat. After each layer the nails are cured under a UV lamp, which takes between 30 seconds and a minute per layer.

Gel polish can last up to three weeks, but it is best to replace it after about 15 days. It is removed with acetone pads wrapped around the nails.

French manicure

The French manicure is a classic that never goes out of style: a soft pink base with white tips. Nails look natural, neat and well cared for, so it works for everyday wear as well as special occasions.

Gel nail extensions

Gel extensions lengthen the natural nail with gel, giving you longer, stronger nails in the shape you like. We also do gel overlays on natural nails, extension maintenance, single nail repairs and extension removal.

Nail art and trends

We do minimalist designs, nail art, chrome effects, pastel tones and seasonal looks. Whether you want something subtle or bold, bring a photo or ask your technician for ideas.

Pedicure in Sofia

A good pedicure is about healthy nails and skin as much as looks. We offer classic, SPA and gel polish pedicures. It starts with a warm foot soak with aromatic salts, then we remove dead skin, shape the nails, massage the feet, apply a nourishing lotion and finish with polish.

Pedicures are available in Druzhba 1, Druzhba 2 and Lozenets. If you have a fungal or other infection, hard calluses or eczema, please see a medical pedicure specialist instead.

What a manicure includes

A standard manicure takes 40–60 minutes, depending on the services you choose, and includes:

• washing and disinfecting the hands;
• removing old polish or nail strengthener;
• shaping the free edge of the nail;
• softening, pushing back and cleaning the cuticles, and trimming them if needed and you want it;
• treating rough skin with a scrub and lotion;
• buffing the nail plate;
• a paraffin treatment, then removing the paraffin;
• moisturising lotion and cuticle oil.

Paraffin hand treatment

The skin on our hands often gets dry, cracked and flaky, especially in winter. Warm paraffin (SNB Professional) warms the hands, boosts circulation, nourishes the skin and softens the cuticles. You can feel the difference after the first session: skin turns soft and smooth. It is worth repeating every two to three weeks. Paraffin therapy is available as an add-on to a manicure at all 4 studios.

Hygiene and products

All manicure and pedicure tools go through hospital-grade autoclave sterilisation at 134 °C, the same standard used in medical clinics. Our gels and polishes (DNKA, PNB Professional, SNB Professional, Blue Sky) are EU-certified, and many are HEMA-free and TPO-free, which suits more sensitive skin.
