How many sessions men need

Male hair is denser and hormonally driven, so a course is usually 6 to 10 sessions spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. You will notice a difference after the first session. The exact number depends on the area and on the density and colour of your hair, and it is set at the free consultation.

Not every man wants everything gone. If your goal is just to thin out and soften the hair, on the chest for example, that takes fewer sessions. Mention it at the consultation and the specialist will plan accordingly.

Preparation: shave beforehand

Preparation is simple. Shave the area before your appointment so the laser can reach the hair follicle. This matters most for the intimate area, where the skin is more sensitive. Do not pluck or wax between sessions, because the laser needs the follicle in place.
